Crucial Conversations®: Tools for Talking When the Stakes are High
If you feel stuck-in a relationship, in your career, at home, wherever—chances are there's a crucial conversation that's keeping you there. Based on the New York Times bestseller Crucial Conversations, these principles give you the skills you need to handle crucial conversations—principles that, if practiced, will yield major improvements in areas like productivity, quality, safety, diversity, change management, and personal relationships. In this interactive 1.5 hour overview, you will:

o       Learn to notice when a conversation turns crucial.

3) Speak To Persuade:When Being Informative Is Not Enough™
Presenter: Vanna Novak, Speak to Persuade TM

The fact is, in every business organization there are a lot of people who can do the work, but it's the people who can stand up and present the work who frequently get the recognition and credit.

Public speaking and presentation skills are essential business and marketing tools successful people use everyday -- to lead discussions, present budgets, introduce themselves, solicit business and promote ideas.

In this information packed program you will learn how to:

  1. Prepare for a successful presentation -- a step-by-step process

                  -   Organize your talk to persuade and convince vs. simply inform
                  -   Develop presentations that result in positive audience response
                  -   Establish credibility and project confidence from beginning to end
                  -   Deliver with impact -- never be boring again!
                  -   Avoid distracting nervous mannerisms
                  -   Think on your feet and respond effectively when under pressure
                  -   Get and stay in control of the Q & A

  1. Handle tough situations and difficult people

                  -   Manage your stage fright and get it working  for  you
                        AND ...
                  -   What to do if you go blank!

This program can be tailored for a short keynote presentation or can be offered as an intensive 14 hour training limited to 10 participants. Videotaping is used as a critical and integral part of the feedback process for longer programs with limited numbers.  In these sessions, emphasis is placed on giving each participant the opportunity to practice skills and get on-the-spot feedback.  Gain the skills to develop and deliver winning presentations!
